Since it was built in the 15th century, the Moulin de Nouara has had several incarnations and that’s what makes it so special today.
A paper mill, a flour mill, and later a holiday centre, the buildings of the Moulin de Nouara have plenty to tell us about the history of the Ambert region.
Following years of restoration work by the Omerin Foundation, the Moulin de Nouara has undergone another transformation and is now the only cultural and tourism centre of its kind in the Livradois region.
